Holmbury’s CRIL Series in-line rotary couplings are designed for in-line use on hydraulic circuits. Using a rotary coupling in the hydraulic line stops the hose twisting, limiting stress and increasing hose lifespan.
We offer these with BSP threads, either Inline or 90° Elbow variants and in carbon steel.
Please note the body size for 1/4" to 3/4" is as per the image on the left, and the body size for 1" to 2" is as per the image on the right.
Stainless steel couplings are available and also different thread types such as JIC, SAE and NPT are available from the manufacturer - please contact our sales team to enquire about these.

Description
CONSTRUCTION
- Carbon steel with trivalent plating
- Fitted with NBR seals
- Also available in AISI 316 stainless steel (See SSIL Series, swivel joint)
FEATURES
- Reduces torsional forces
- Can also be used in applications that are required to rotate but not under pressure, such as hose reels
- Spindle is carried on a roller bearing and has a low friction shaft seal allowing rotation at maximum pressure with low torque
