Delivery Information

At Pearson Hydraulics, we are committed to ensuring your orders are delivered promptly and efficiently. Please take a moment to review the following delivery terms and conditions.

Delivery Process

We will deliver the products to the address provided at the time of your order. It is essential that the delivery details you provide are accurate, as we cannot be held responsible for any missed deliveries due to incorrect information.

Should you wish, you may specify a delivery address different from your billing address. This option is particularly useful if you'd like the products sent to another business premises or location.

International Deliveries

For all international orders, we use the DAP (Delivered at Place) shipping method.

• DAP means that Pearson Hydraulics will cover the cost of transporting the goods to the delivery location you specify. However, the recipient is responsible for paying any import duties or taxes upon arrival of the goods.
• Please be aware that delivery times may vary depending on your location.

Delivery Timeframes

We aim to dispatch and deliver your order as swiftly as possible. All delivery estimates provided on our website excludes weekends.

• For next working day delivery, orders must be placed by 3 PM on Monday to Friday. (subject to product availability and order size).
• Please allow sufficient time for order processing, particularly for custom or larger orders.

While we strive to meet delivery dates, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times and cannot be held liable for delays. This policy also applies to products shipped directly from manufacturers. We will not be responsible for any expenses incurred due to late deliveries.

Customers in remote areas may incur additional postal charges. In such cases, we will contact you directly.

Delivery Prices

Products Excluded from Free Delivery

Product ranges excluded from our free delivery service include but are not limited to:

• Hydraulic oil tanks
• Industrial hose
• Electric motors
• Hydraulic hose (over a certain weight threshold)

This information serves as a guide only and isn’t an exhaustive list.

Damage, Loss and Delayed Deliveries

Upon receipt of your goods, it is your responsibility to inspect the items. Any claims for damaged items, non-delivery, loss in transit, or late delivery must be reported to us within 4 days of delivery.

• When signing for a delivery, ensure that the number of parcels received matches the number stated on the consignment note. If there is a discrepancy, amend the note before signing.
• If the delivery arrives later than expected, please note the time of receipt on the consignment note.
• If you notice any damage to the parcels upon delivery, make sure to record this on the consignment note.

Complaints

If you have any concerns regarding the delivery, please notify us within 4 days of receipt. We will either replace the items or credit the value of the goods, provided the complaint is accepted.

Please note that we are not responsible for any charges incurred by you for attempting to rectify or modify goods without our prior written consent.

All pricing or carriage-related queries must be raised within 4 days of the invoice date. Credits will not be issued beyond this period.

Order Cancellations

Under UK law, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving the goods.

• To cancel your order, please notify us in writing (email: sales@pearson-hyds.co.uk), quoting your order number.
• If your order has already been dispatched, the goods must be returned in accordance with our Returns and Exchange

Pearson Hydraulics reserves the right to cancel orders at any time, with a full refund issued. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and Exchanges

If you wish to return an item, the following conditions must be met:

1. The goods are unused and are part of our standard stock.
2. The goods are in their original condition.
3. The return request is made within 10 days of the invoice date.

For returns meeting these conditions, a handling charge of either 20% of the item’s value or £25 (whichever is greater) will apply.

Please note, the item remains your responsibility until it is received by us. We strongly recommend using a delivery service that provides insurance and a signed proof of delivery, as Pearson Hydraulics cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
